Plant Description

The ‘Sugar Rush’ mix is a compact and fragrant wallflower that adds bold, early colour and scent to your garden. This mix includes purple bicolour, red, yellow, and primrose shades. Growing to around 30 cm tall, the plants form dense, branched flower spikes above grey-green foliage.

Unlike traditional wallflowers, the Sugar Rush variety can flower twice—once in autumn/winter, and again in early spring. It performs best in full sun with well-drained soil, and is ideal for garden beds, pots, or along pathways where its sweet clove-like fragrance can be appreciated. Removing spent flower clusters will keep the plant compact and promote even more blooms the following season.

Sugar Rush wallflowers are not only beautiful but tough and resilient, offering fragrance, colour, and pollinator support at times when many other plants are dormant.

What does pot diameter mean?

Pot diameter is measured along the top of each pot to give an indication of overall plant size on arrival.

We only offer plants in 13cm or 11cm pots. This means that plants are established and ready to be planted straight into your garden as soon as they arrive.

*Our specially designed boxes require no plastic inners. The plant pots are (recyclable) plastic.
