Plant Description

Viola ‘Spring Select Mix’ is a stunningly vibrant and lively burst of colour, perfect for brightening up your garden borders, terrace pots, or window boxes during the cooler months. This joyful mix combines a beautiful range of warm and cool tones—featuring sunny yellows, rich purples, deep violet, delicate pinks and crisp whites.

Some blooms have a charming, face-like appearance, resembling chirpy little characters, while others express a more abstract expression. Together, they create a dynamic and uplifting floral display full of personality.

This variety grows in a compact, mounded form and benefits from being spaced about 15 cm apart to allow good airflow between plants. It’s well-branched and naturally resistant to stretching, making it tidy and reliable in both containers and garden beds.

For the best performance, plant your violas in full sun to afternoon shade. Keep the soil well-drained and water only when the top layer feels dry—avoid overwatering, as violas don’t tolerate soggy conditions.

With regular deadheading, these colourful blooms will continue to flourish, rewarding you with extended flowering. Their bright, happy faces also attract bees and other pollinators, making them a delightful and beneficial addition to your outdoor space.

We grow three plants potted in a 13cm pot. This gives a nice bush like appearance when the plants establish, providing a dome like appearance supporting a plethora of attractive bright flowers.

What does pot diameter mean?

Pot diameter is measured along the top of each pot to give an indication of overall plant size on arrival.

We only offer plants in 13cm or 11cm pots. This means that plants are established and ready to be planted straight into your garden as soon as they arrive.

*Our specially designed boxes require no plastic inners. The plant pots are (recyclable) plastic.
