Plant Description
Tomato ‘Moneymaker’ is a classic and popular variety, loved for its reliability and
steady production of medium-sized, round red tomatoes. It is a vining (cordon)
variety, meaning it grows tall and produces fruit along the main stem, requiring
support.
To grow Tomato Moneymaker, plant out after the last frost, usually late May or early
June. Choose a sunny, sheltered spot with rich, well-drained soil if growing outdoors
or a bright position in a greenhouse. It can also thrive in large containers or
growbags.
Support the plant with canes or string and regularly pinch out the side shoots to
focus energy on fruit production. Keep the soil consistently moist and feed weekly
with a high-potash tomato fertiliser once the first fruits begin to form. Harvest
tomatoes when fully red for best flavour. With proper care, Moneymaker tomatoes
will provide a long, reliable cropping season of tasty, versatile tomatoes.

What does pot diameter mean?
Pot diameter is measured along the top of each pot to give an indication of overall plant size on arrival.
We only offer plants in 13cm or 11cm pots. This means that plants are established and ready to be planted straight into your garden as soon as they arrive.
