After trialling the Spring Break series, we were absolutely thrilled with the results — a true burst of colour featuring long-lasting biennials, perennials, and grasses growing together in perfect harmony. It’s a wonderfully easy-care container, ideal from early spring through to early summer, and brings a stunning Mediterranean feel to any outdoor space. 

The Spring Break – Salou mix is made up of a charming trio of plants that complement each other beautifully. To get the best from your display, choose a generously sized container or bowl to give each plant room to grow and breathe. Use well-drained, fertile compost and place it in bright, indirect light — mimicking the gentle, coastal conditions reflected in the planter’s name.

Keep the container well watered while the plants are establishing, but avoid waterlogging. As the planting matures and fills out, you can reduce watering slightly — but be sure not to let the compost dry out completely.

This coastal-inspired Salou mix features:

• Bellis in a crisp, compact white for brightness and structure 
• Mini Viola in a cheerful, sunny yellow for warmth and vibrancy 
• Carex ‘Amazon Mist’ with fine, silvery-green foliage for texture and softness
