Plant Description

Saxifraga Hot Rose is an evergreen perennial known for its vivid hot rose pink,
star-shaped blooms with bright yellow centres. These charming flowers rise above
dense mounds of delicate, moss-like foliage, creating a soft and textured effect.
This compact plant typically grows to 10–14 cm tall and spreads to around 15–17
cm, making it ideal for rock gardens, border edging, pots, and balcony boxes.

Flowering begins in early spring and continues into early summer, providing a long-
lasting display of colour. Saxifraga thrives in well-drained soil and prefers a position
in full sun moving on to partial shade. Morning sun with some afternoon shade offers
ideal growing conditions. The soil should be kept consistently moist, but not
waterlogged.

In addition to its ornamental value, this saxifraga attracts early pollinators such as
bees, making it an excellent choice for gardeners looking to bring both texture and
early season interest to their outdoor spaces.

What does pot diameter mean?

Pot diameter is measured along the top of each pot to give an indication of overall plant size on arrival.

We only offer plants in 13cm or 11cm pots. This means that plants are established and ready to be planted straight into your garden as soon as they arrive.

*Our specially designed boxes require no plastic inners. The plant pots are (recyclable) plastic.
