Plant Description
A true cottage garden classic, ‘Hot Lips’ never fails to get attention. Its dainty flowers
are bright red with crisp white tips. It’s full of character and brings joyful movement
and colour to any sunny border or pot.
‘Hot Lips’ is very easy to grow and care for. Give it a spot in full sun with good
drainage, and it’ll flower from late spring right through to the first frost.
Once established, it’s drought-tolerant and needs little fuss — just trim back lightly in
spring to keep it bushy and tidy. A real favourite of ours, and a must for pollinator-
friendly gardens.
Why choose Rowlands Plants?
We are a family-run nursery that has been growing strong, healthy, vigorous plant since 1957.
What does pot diameter mean?
Pot diameter is measured along the top of each pot to give an indication of overall plant size on arrival.
We only offer plants in 13cm or 11cm pots. This means that plants are established and ready to be planted straight into your garden as soon as they arrive.
