Plant Description

One of the prettiest salvias we grow, Salvia ‘Amethyst Lips’ is a real treat in the
summer garden. This stunning perennial has delicate two-tone flowers which are a
soft white brushed with deep amethyst-purple, no two blooms are quite the same
and they flutter like tiny flags above a neat clump of fresh green foliage.

Plant it in a sunny spot — borders, pots, or cottage-style mixed beds are all perfect
and it’ll flower its heart out from early summer right into autumn.

Bees and butterflies love it and so do we. Like all salvias, it’s drought-tolerant once
settled and doesn’t ask for much: good drainage, a little deadheading here and
there, and a light trim in spring to keep it bushy.

We only offer plants in 13cm or 11cm pots. This means that plants are established and ready to be planted straight into your garden as soon as they arrive.
