Plant Description
Rosemary ‘Green Rosi’ is a culinary variety prized for its dense, upright habit and highly
aromatic foliage. The narrow, needle-like leaves are around 1 inch long and a vibrant green,
giving the plant a fresh, lively appearance.
This variety is especially well-suited to kitchen gardens and container planting, where it
thrives with minimal fuss. Its flavour is classic rosemary—robust and piney, with a hint of
mint and lemon, thanks to its young green foliage.
In spring or early summer, ‘Green Rosi’ may produce soft bluish flowers that attract bees and
other pollinators. However, flowering may not occur in the first year.
A terracotta pot is ideal for this rosemary, as it helps keep the soil dry—important since
rosemary dislikes soggy roots. It prefers full sun and well-drained soil, where it will truly
flourish.
Rosemary is a bold, aromatic herb best enjoyed in savoury dishes. It pairs beautifully with
meats, potatoes, carrots, squash, mushrooms, roasted vegetables, breads, oils, and marinades.
A perfect companion for the culinary garden—both useful and ornamental.

What does pot diameter mean?
