Ranunculus 'Vortex Orange Improved'

The orange ranunculus is a multi-petaled flower that resembles a rose or peony, yet possesses a distinctive elegance of its own. This variety showcases stunning tangerine-orange blooms, each perched on a long, graceful stem. While each stem typically supports a single flower, with regular deadheading, the plant can produce multiple stems throughout its flowering period.

An ideal addition to any spring garden, orange ranunculus is low-maintenance and thrives in cooler temperatures. It prefers a sunny position and needs at least six hours of full sun per day. It also adapts beautifully to container growing, making it perfect for balconies or patios with good sunlight exposure.

Care should be taken not to overwater, as soggy soil can lead to root rot. Keep the soil lightly moist, watering regularly, but allow the top layer to dry slightly between waterings. Avoid letting the soil dry out completely. Feeding the plant every 2–3 weeks with a balanced fertilizer will encourage a vibrant and sustained display.
