Plant Description

Primula veris Golden Yellow features rich, golden yellow blooms that bring warmth and brightness to early spring. At the centre of each flower is a subtle, deeper yellow eye, adding depth and contrast to the golden outer petals.

The flowers appear in small clusters on top of sturdy, upright stems, standing proudly above a rosette of fresh green, crinkled foliage.

These hardy little plants love a woodland-style environment and thrive in settings that replicate it. They enjoy dappled sunlight and the gentle brightness of winter sun, whether beneath a tree or growing happily in a pot or window box on your balcony. The soil should be kept moist but never waterlogged, as they dislike soggy roots.

Primula veris Golden Yellow begins flowering from late February to early March, bringing one of the first bursts of cheerful colour to the garden after winter. With their sunny presence, these blooms signal that the days are getting longer and spring is just around the corner.

What does pot diameter mean?

Pot diameter is measured along the top of each pot to give an indication of overall plant size on arrival.

We only offer plants in 13cm or 11cm pots. This means that plants are established and ready to be planted straight into your garden as soon as they arrive.

*Our specially designed boxes require no plastic inners. The plant pots are (recyclable) plastic.
