Plant Description

Polyanthus Veris ‘Lime Orange’ is a vibrant and unique take on the traditional cowslip. This striking variety features soft lime-yellow petals with vivid orange centres, creating a distinctive and eye-catching two-tone effect. The multiple blooms are carried on a single upright stalk, giving it a graceful yet bold presence in the garden.

A clump-forming perennial, this cowslip thrives in a variety of conditions and looks particularly natural when planted beneath deciduous trees or shrubs, mimicking its native woodland setting. It’s an excellent choice for borders, containers, cottage gardens, woodland gardens, and rockeries.

Flowering from late February, Polyanthus Veris ‘Lime Orange’ brings a welcome splash of colour early in the year. It prefers moist, well-drained soil and will flourish in full sun to partial shade. Whether planted directly in the ground or in pots, it adds charm, structure, and seasonal interest to any space.

What does pot diameter mean?

Pot diameter is measured along the top of each pot to give an indication of overall plant size on arrival.

We only offer plants in 13cm or 11cm pots. This means that plants are established and ready to be planted straight into your garden as soon as they arrive.

*Our specially designed boxes require no plastic inners. The plant pots are (recyclable) plastic.
