Plant Description

This variety of pansy is truly a delight. Coastal Sunrise Mix features a soft and uplifting palette of pale orange, delicate pink, purple, and warm plum tones — all reminiscent of a gentle coastal sunrise. The large, flat-faced blooms are both striking and serene, and one of their most endearing features is the dark central blotch, which often resembles a cheerful smile or friendly face.

Perfect for spring planting, this variety performs exceptionally well in cooler weather. It thrives in full sun to partial shade, with some afternoon shade helping to protect the blooms from heat stress. The soil should be kept consistently moist while the plant establishes itself, taking care to water at the base to avoid wetting the flowers. Once established, watering can be reduced, though the soil should never be allowed to dry out completely.

Feeding with a balanced liquid fertiliser every two to three weeks during the growing season will encourage strong, healthy blooms. Regular deadheading of faded flowers will further promote continuous flowering and maintain a tidy appearance. With its uniform growth habit and strong stems, Pansy Coastal Sunrise Mix is a dependable and vibrant choice for garden beds, containers, or window boxes, bringing colour and cheer wherever it’s planted.

What does pot diameter mean?

Pot diameter is measured along the top of each pot to give an indication of overall plant size on arrival.

We only offer plants in 13cm or 11cm pots. This means that plants are established and ready to be planted straight into your garden as soon as they arrive.

*Our specially designed boxes require no plastic inners. The plant pots are (recyclable) plastic.
