Plant Description

Oh, the Lupin 'Legendary White Shades’ Shades, what a lovely addition to any
cottage garden! These lupins are proper beauties, standing tall and proud with their
elegant spires of soft white blooms, like candles glowing among the greenery.

There's a real old-fashioned grace to them, the kind you’d imagine fluttering in the
breeze beside a picket fence or nestled in a border with delphiniums and digitalis.
They’re no shrinking violets either, these are strong, healthy plants with good, sturdy
leaves that form a lush base, deep green and full of life. They’ve got that handsome,
slightly architectural look that lupins are known for, but there's nothing fussy about
them, just honest, wholesome charm.

And the best part? They come back year after year, just getting better with time,
especially if you tuck them into a sunny spot with decent soil. A little deadheading
after flowering and they might even give you a second flush, just when you thought
the show was over.

Perfect for adding a touch of timeless cottage loveliness to your garden.

With just a touch of care, these lupins will reward you year after year with graceful, golden blooms and that timeless, storybook charm every garden deserves. We will sell these plants in the green, before flower initiation has started, so that they can be given the maximum chance of establishing once planted out in a border.

What does pot diameter mean?

Pot diameter is measured along the top of each pot to give an indication of overall plant size on arrival.

We only offer plants in 13cm or 11cm pots. This means that plants are established and ready to be planted straight into your garden as soon as they arrive.

*Our specially designed boxes require no plastic inners. The plant pots are (recyclable) plastic.
