Plant Description

Lupin ‘Legendary Rose Shades’ is a truly eye-catching variety that brings both
strength and elegance to the garden. This lupin offers large, rose-toned flower spikes
that rise proudly above strong, leafy foliage. The soft yet striking shades of rose pink
add a romantic touch, perfect for weaving through a cottage-style border.

The plants themselves are robust and well-formed, with sturdy stems and lush green
leaves that hold their shape beautifully throughout the season. Flowering is
consistent and even, giving a wonderful display of upright spires that not only look
beautiful but are also a favourite with bees and other pollinators.

This variety thrives in full sun or partial sun and prefers a spot where it can bask in
the light for several hours a day. It’s well suited to garden beds, borders or as part of
a mixed planting scheme, where its tall flower spikes can add structure and gentle
drama. Whether you're creating a soft, romantic look or planting for wildlife, Lupin
Legendary Rose Shades fits in effortlessly.

Perfect for traditional borders or relaxed, informal planting, this lupin brings colour
and life to your garden year after year.

With just a touch of care, these lupins will reward you year after year with graceful, golden blooms and that timeless, storybook charm every garden deserves. We will sell these plants in the green, before flower initiation has started, so that they can be given the maximum chance of establishing once planted out in a border.

What does pot diameter mean?

Pot diameter is measured along the top of each pot to give an indication of overall plant size on arrival.

We only offer plants in 13cm or 11cm pots. This means that plants are established and ready to be planted straight into your garden as soon as they arrive.

*Our specially designed boxes require no plastic inners. The plant pots are (recyclable) plastic.
