Plant Description

Hedera helix ‘Silver’ is a beautifully versatile plant, perfect for year-round use in
pots, hanging baskets, and along fences. This striking evergreen features deeply
lobed leaves with eye-catching, silver-toned variegation set against a rich green
background.

Wonderfully adaptable, Silver Ivy thrives both indoors and out. It’s particularly
effective in hanging baskets or elevated containers, where it can cascade gracefully
over the edges, creating an elegant display. In bright, indirect light, the leaf
variegation becomes even more vibrant. However, direct sunlight can bleach the
leaves, so it’s best kept out of harsh sun.

Consistency is key when it comes to watering. Keep the soil evenly moist, but avoid
letting it become waterlogged, as this can damage the roots.

Outdoors, Hedera helix ‘Silver’ makes an excellent groundcover or climbing plant,
ideal for growing along fences, walls, or trellises. It is hardy in most climates and
remains evergreen throughout the year, providing reliable structure and greenery in
every season. Ensure it is planted in well-draining soil and positioned in a spot with
bright, filtered light to prevent scorching of the delicate foliage.

From pot to plot, this ivy brings timeless charm and year-round interest to any space
it inhabits.

What does pot diameter mean?

Pot diameter is measured along the top of each pot to give an indication of overall plant size on arrival.

We only offer plants in 13cm or 11cm pots. This means that plants are established and ready to be planted straight into your garden as soon as they arrive.

*Our specially designed boxes require no plastic inners. The plant pots are (recyclable) plastic.
