Plant Description
Hedera helix 'Gold' is a striking ivy variety, known for its variegated, lobed leaves with vibrant golden marbling. This hardy, evergreen plant brings both structure and visual appeal to gardens, walls, and indoor spaces.
Extremely versatile, it can be used in a variety of ways, whether as ground cover, a climber on fences or trellises, or cascading from hanging baskets and pots. Its adaptability makes it a valuable addition to any planting scheme.
'Gold' ivy thrives in partial to full shade, making it ideal for low-light areas such as beneath trees, along shaded fences, or in indoor spaces with indirect light. While it can tolerate some sun, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause the leaves to scorch.
Regular watering is essential when first planted, but once established, this ivy becomes largely drought-tolerant. It’s important, however, to ensure that the soil remains well-drained and does not become waterlogged.
A year-round favourite, this evergreen ivy adds texture and colour to containers, mixed baskets, and landscape designs, making it an excellent choice for both indoor and outdoor use.

What does pot diameter mean?
Pot diameter is measured along the top of each pot to give an indication of overall plant size on arrival.
We only offer plants in 13cm or 11cm pots. This means that plants are established and ready to be planted straight into your garden as soon as they arrive.
