Plant Description

Gaura ‘Gaudi Compact White’ is a beautifully refined perennial that adds a soft, airy
touch to the garden. Its crisp white blooms, delicate and butterfly-like, seem to float
on slender stems above a tidy mound of dark green foliage. The flowers open
continuously from early summer right into autumn, giving the impression of a gentle
cloud drifting above the greenery which is perfect for bringing light and movement to
planting schemes.

This variety forms a neat, compact mound of dark green leaves, making it ideal for
front-of-border planting, gravel gardens and sunny patio containers. Despite its
modest size, it produces a generous succession of blooms, giving a cloud-like effect
that softens hard edges and blends effortlessly with other cottage favourites.
Perfect for full sun, Gaura ‘Gaudi Compact White’ thrives in well-drained soil and is
drought-tolerant once established, making it an easy-care choice for low-
maintenance or Mediterranean style gardens. It’s also a favourite of bees and
butterflies, making it as beneficial to wildlife as it is beautiful.

To keep it looking its best, deadhead spent flowers to encourage continuous
blooming, or give it a light trim mid-season to maintain shape.

With its bright, crisp white blooms and compact habit, ‘Gaura Gaudi ‘Compact White’
brings freshness, softness, and long-lasting interest to borders, paths, and pots alike.

What does pot diameter mean?

Pot diameter is measured along the top of each pot to give an indication of overall plant size on arrival.

We only offer plants in 13cm or 11cm pots. This means that plants are established and ready to be planted straight into your garden as soon as they arrive.

*Our specially designed boxes require no plastic inners. The plant pots are (recyclable) plastic.
