Plant Description

Gaura Gaudi ‘Compact Rose’ is a beautifully compact, free-flowering perennial that
adds a gentle, fluttering touch of colour to borders and containers alike. Its delicate
rose-pink blooms, shaped like tiny butterflies, appear in graceful succession along
slender, airy stems, swaying softly in the breeze from early summer well into autumn.

This variety forms a neat mound of dark green foliage, staying low and manageable
throughout the season. It’s perfect for border planting, gravel gardens, or sunny patio
pots, where space may be limited but impact is still desired. Despite its compact
size, it offers a generous, long-lasting floral display, bringing gentle movement, soft
texture, and a relaxed elegance to any bright, sun-filled corner of the garden.
The rose-pink flowers deepen in tone with the warmth of summer, blending
effortlessly with silvers, purples and softer pastels.

Gaura ‘Gaudi Compact Rose’ is easy to grow, preferring full sun and well-drained
soil. It's drought-tolerant once established and requires very little maintenance.
Deadheading will encourage more blooms, while a light trim can refresh the plant
mid-season and keep it compact.

Full of charm, grace and gentle colour, ‘Gaudi Compact Rose’ is ideal for cottage
gardens, relaxed borders and pretty patio displays that welcome both bees and
butterflies all season long.

What does pot diameter mean?

Pot diameter is measured along the top of each pot to give an indication of overall plant size on arrival.

We only offer plants in 13cm or 11cm pots. This means that plants are established and ready to be planted straight into your garden as soon as they arrive.

*Our specially designed boxes require no plastic inners. The plant pots are (recyclable) plastic.
