Plant Description
Fuchsia ‘Mrs Popple’ is a hardy bush fuchsia with eye-catching, bell-shaped flowers. The inner petals are a deep, rich purple, beautifully set against bright scarlet sepals, creating a striking and dramatic display. Compact and versatile, ‘Mrs Popple’ is perfect for borders, raised beds, or containers, making it an interesting addition to any garden.
Mrs Popple thrives in fertile, well-drained soil with full sun or light shade and some shelter from strong winds. Regular feeding and deadheading encourages a long season of blooms. During harsh winters, the top growth may die back, but new shoots usually emerge from the base in spring.
Pruning the old stems in mid to late April allows the fresh growth to flourish and keeps the plant neat and bushy.
Why choose Rowlands Plants?
We are a family-run nursery that has been growing strong, healthy, vigorous plant since 1957.
What does pot diameter mean?
Pot diameter is measured along the top of each pot to give an indication of overall plant size on arrival.
We only offer plants in 13cm or 11cm pots. This means that plants are established and ready to be planted straight into your garden as soon as they arrive.
