Plant Description
Echinacea – Lakota in yellow brings a sunny glow to the garden with its soft, buttery
yellow blooms. Each flower features slim, gently arching petals that sweep back
gracefully from a golden orange central cone. The effect is both cheerful and refined
they look like miniature suns dotting the border.
Pollinators adore it and you'll often find bees and butterflies weaving among its
blooms throughout the summer. Its lighter colour makes it especially lovely in moon
gardens or mixed pastel plantings, where it adds brightness without overwhelming.
Like its siblings, Echinacea Lakota in yellow is easy to grow, thriving in full sun and
free-draining soil. It’s well suited to informal beds, containers and cottage-style
plantings, and makes a lovely companion to lavender, salvia, and ornamental
grasses. Tough, tidy, and full of charm.
Why choose Rowlands Plants?
We are a family-run nursery that has been growing strong, healthy, vigorous plant since 1957.
What does pot diameter mean?
Pot diameter is measured along the top of each pot to give an indication of overall plant size on arrival.
We only offer plants in 13cm or 11cm pots. This means that plants are established and ready to be planted straight into your garden as soon as they arrive.
