Plant Description

Bold, bright and full of character, Dianthus Passion brings a glorious splash of vibrant red to the garden, along with that lovely old-world fragrance. This scented, hardy perennial has pretty grey-green leaves and a neat, bushy habit, flowering freely all summer long with very little fuss.

Perfect for sunny borders, cottage gardens, or a cheerful pot by the back door, it thrives in light, well-drained soil and loves to be in the sun. Once it's settled in, it doesn’t mind the odd dry spell, but a drink now and then in hot weather will keep it blooming. A bit of feed helps, and a quick trim after flowering often brings on a second flush.

Pot diameter is measured along the top of each pot to give an indication of overall plant size on arrival.

We only offer plants in 13cm or 11cm pots. This means that plants are established and ready to be planted straight into your garden as soon as they arrive.
