Description
Cyclamen became popular in European gardens during the 18th and 19th centuries,
with Cyclamen persicum—the Persian cyclamen—especially prized as an
ornamental plant. This species is the ancestor of most modern cultivated varieties.
This stunning variety is known for its eye-catching silver foliage and this particular
wine coloured blooms create a breathtaking contrast. Whether displayed indoors or
out, cyclamen adds a touch of elegance wherever it grows.
Cyclamen thrive in bright, indirect light, making it an ideal indoor plant. It also
flourishes on balconies or in sheltered garden spots—just be sure to keep it away
from direct sun and harsh winds.
Water only when the soil feels fry to the touch. For indoor plants,a good idea is to
water from the bottom, place the pot in a saucer of water for 10-15 minutes. This will
allow the roots to soak up the moisture while protecting the crown from rot.
Looking to add a graceful, low-maintenance plant to your collection? Cyclamen bring
year-round charm with minimal fuss
