Plant Description
The stunning Aquilegia Earlybird Blue and White is a compact, clump-forming plant that produces striking bi-colour flowers. The outer petals are a deep blue, beautifully complemented by crisp white inner petals and a bright yellow stamen. Its upright stems make it a beautiful addition to borders and containers.
This eye-catching flower is a striking herbaceous perennial and one of my favourite plants to grow. When cared for properly, it is low maintenance and rewards you with beautiful spring blooms.
Aquilegia Earlybird prefers partial shade to full sun. Keep the soil well-drained and consistently moist. Space plants about 10 inches apart to allow airflow and reduce the risk of fungal issues. Once established, it becomes moderately drought tolerant, though it still thrives best with consistent moisture, love and care.
Why choose Rowlands Plants?
We are a family-run nursery that has been growing strong, healthy, vigorous plant since 1957.
What does pot diameter mean?
Pot diameter is measured along the top of each pot to give an indication of overall plant size on arrival.
We only offer plants in 13cm or 11cm pots. This means that plants are established and ready to be planted straight into your garden as soon as they arrive.
